My name is Lana, and I’m a Chicago-based freelance DP and owner of Koi Media Productions.

I’m drawn to documentary, narrative, and commercial work that feels grounded, intentional, and human. I enjoy collaborating on projects that tell real stories, especially when they take me into new environments and allow me to capture people, places, and moments as they naturally unfold.

I love being out in the field and working in environments that require flexibility, patience, and creative problem-solving. I’m comfortable shooting in changing weather conditions, adapting to unpredictable shoot days, and staying open when the story leads us somewhere unexpected.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually traveling, spending time outdoors, or at my CrossFit gym. As a fitness enthusiast, I’m comfortable with physically demanding shoot days and enjoy projects that involve movement, nature, and a little bit of adventure.
